Generation Dead: Kiss of Life (Generation Dead Novels) - Daniel Waters I was so disappointed by this book, to be perfectly honest. I read the first book maybe 3 years ago, and it was okay if I remember correctly. I quite enjoyed it.However this book did not meet my expectations. I struggled to get through the entire book, and I got so bored of it right from the start. I felt that nothing exciting happened in the story until maybe the last 40-50 pages. But by that stage I was so over it that my opinion of the book was far from being improved.I won't be continuing this series.
Elixir - Hilary Duff, Elise Allen SPOILERS!I enjoyed reading this book - I was pleasantly surprised by Hilary's novel. The main issue I had with it was, that I predicted so much of the story. I felt that the story line almost identical to another book I have read, Evermore: an immortal guy who is continuously drawn to his soul mate's reincarnations time and time again. However the soulmate is always killed by a jealous other, in this case by a soul who is included in the equation, and in the other book I am talking about there is also the third soul drawn to the main character. This made the novel way to predictable for me.
Shiver - Maggie Stiefvater I had a lot of trouble reading this book. The start was so slow to get through and I just didn't enjoy it. Nothing happened until the end and even then it wasn't anything exciting.I am normally compelled to finish a book, and I had to force myself to finish it - it wasn't so bad that I just couldn't continue altogether, but it was a struggle.
